Singing Waiters & Opera Singers
This option is growing in demand as it really animates a wedding dinner and provides great entertainment. The singer (or singers) dress up as waiters (or in other costumes if desired) and pretend to help the staff, pouring wine, serving bread, etc. On cue they burst into song and enthrall your guests with medleys of well-loved songs, from pop hits to opera.
Their repertoire depends upon their voice type as Sopranos can't sing tenor songs so please let us know what repertoire you are looking for and we will find the right voice for it. We can work with our own equipment (piano, sound system ... ) and we can hide everything so that it remains a surprise and we like to know how many guests you have and the size of the room for the performance. Amplification is usually required for this act unless you don't have too many guests and the room size is small. There are two usual formats: 1 - A short performance of 20-30 minutes before the meal starts where the singers dress up as waiters helping to pour the wine before bursting into song 2 - Sets of 20 minute performances between courses Prices vary according to the singers, timings etc please ask for more information. |
